Marcel Seip has been a regular fixture at the heart of Argyle's defence
Plymouth Argyle's Dutch defender Marcel Seip has signed a new contract which will keep him at Home Park until the end of the 2010-11 season.
Seip, 26, has been one of Argyle's most consistent performers this season.
He was frozen out of the first team at the end of last season after refusing to be a substitute, but has since made his peace with manager Paul Sturrock.
"This season he's been a consistent performer and you don't want to lose those types of players," Sturrock said.
"We're all delighted, there's a case to say he's been in the top three performers all season."
