Plymouth Argyle signing Karl Duguid says he is relishing the chance to play in the Championship.
The 29-year-old, who Pilgrims boss Paul Sturrock will play at right-back, has come to Home Park after more than a decade with Colchester United.
"It is different for me, but I'm really relishing the challenge," he told BBC Radio Devon.
"I've come here because I want to be in the Championship," he added after beginning the pre-season with Argyle.
"The club are ambitious. They want to achieve things, the manager wants to achieve things and all the lads do as well and I want to be part of that," he said.
