Plymouth have announced that their former centre-forward Eric Davis has died at the age of 75.
Born in Stonehouse, Devon, Davis joined Argyle from non-league Tavistock in the summer of 1952.
Davis made 64 league appearances for the Pilgrims, scoring 29 goals, before moving to Scunthorpe in July 1957.
He won the Division Three (North) title with the Iron in 1958, making 40 appearances for them, and later had spells with Chester and Oldham.
His funeral will take place at Plymstock Church on Monday, 30 July at 1100 BST.
