Plymouth manager Ian Holloway insists he is desperate to keep midfielder Tony Capaldi at Home Park.
The 25-year-old has been offered a new long-term contract by the Pilgrims, but has yet to sign the new deal.
"If someone else comes up with a fair offer of what he's worth I will sit down and talk with him," said Holloway.
"But, in the meantime, we will get on with it. He will be in my thoughts because he's a very good player who I don't want to lose."
