Plymouth have released defender David Worrell, after boss Bobby Williamson decided not to offer him a new deal.
The 27-year-old made 164 senior appearances since joining from Dundee United in November 2000, initially on loan - but failed to score a goal.
Williamson admitted: "He has been a tremendous servant for Argyle.
"A lot of guys are legends here because of what they have achieved. It is difficult to move players on and bring others in, but it has to be done."
