Argyle announce 500,000 profits
Plymouth's promotion to the Championship last season ensured the club made a profit of over 500,000.

It is the third year in succession that Argyle have reported an annual profit, with this year's surplus nearly 10 times more than in the 2002/03 season.

Pilgrims chairman Paul Stapleton said: "Plymouth has come some way since this new board took over in August 2001.

"We are only just over halfway through our original five-year plan, and many objectives have already been exceeded."
