Plymouth snap up Heaney
Plymouth have signed winger Neil Heaney following his release from Scottish Premier League side Dundee United.

The 30-year-old began his career at Arsenal and went on to play for Southampton, Manchester City and Darlington.

The move re-unites Heaney and Plymouth manager Paul Sturrock, who signed the player for Dundee United.

Sturrock said: "Neil has been one of the players I have been tracking for quite some time and hoping to get."

The former England Under-21 international has signed for the Pilgrims until June 2003.
