Skinner and McKay helped Peterhead reach the play-offs
Peterhead have lost two players to the Highland League, Stuart McKay and Martin Skinner having rejected new contracts from the Division Two club.
Defender Skinner, 20, has opted to join Huntly, while winger McKay, 27, has moved on to Formartine United.
McKay, who joined Peterhead from Inverurie Locos in 2006, made 41 appearances last season as they missed out on promotion via the play-offs.
Skinner, who arrived from Aberdeen last summer, made 17 appearances.
Peterhead manager Neale Cooper is also waiting to hear from midfield duo Stuart Anderson and Dean Cowie, who have been offered new contracts at Balmoor Stadium.
Strikers Andy Bagshaw and Konrad Kozminski, plus goalkeeper Michal Kula, were all released by Peterhead at the end of the season.
Cooper has added experienced former East Fife midfielder Dougie Cameron to his squad, while PA Bruce, Lewis Davidson, Ryan Duncan and Paul Young have been promoted from the Under-18 side.
And the manager is hopeful of adding some young players from Scottish Premier League clubs to his squad.
Defender Daniel Moore and striker Craig Gunn returned to Ross County following their loan spells.
However, the latter was not offered a contract by Peterhead despite being released by the First Division club.
