Munro leaves Peterhead for Forres

Peterhead

Peterhead's Hamish Munro has left the Second Division club to return to Highland League side Forres Mechanics.

The defender joined the Blue Toon in 2007 but struggled to hold down a first-team place and had a loan spell at Huntly last season.

Munro could now feature in Forres' Homecoming Scottish Cup third round tie against Dalbeattie Star on Saturday.

Hamish's brother Donnie Munro left Peterhead earlier this season to join Buckie Thistle.
