Jackson drops interest in Howe

League One Yeovil are interested in signing Howe

Lincoln City manager Peter Jackson has ruled out a move for Peterborough United striker Rene Howe.

The forward, who scored 12 goals in 41 games while on loan at Morecambe last season, has been linked with a move to Yeovil as well as Sincil Bank.

Jackson told BBC Radio Lincolnshire: "We showed interest in him but he wanted a bit longer.

"We can't wait forever. We are in a situation where we need to move on and look to bring other people in."
