Frecklington completes Posh move

Frecklington is a product of the Lincoln City academy

Peterborough United have sealed a permanent move for on-loan midfielder Lee Frecklington.

The 23-year-old, who joined Posh on loan from Lincoln City in February with a view to a permanent move, has signed a three-year contract at London Road.

United boss Darren Ferguson told the club website: "Lee was unlucky with injury when he joined us on loan.

"But you could see from his performance when he did get to play that he is a good player."

Frecklington, a product of the Lincoln academy, made seven appearances during his loan spell.

Ferguson originally tried to bring him to London Road in January 2008.
