Zakuani is been a virtual ever present since his arrival at London Road
Peterborough manager Darren Ferguson has confirmed that Gabby Zakuani will join the club permanently when the transfer window opens in January.
The defender, 21, who has been on loan at London Road from Fulham, will sign a three-and-a half-year deal after the two clubs agreed an undisclosed fee.
Zakuani's loan expires on 14 December meaning he will miss matches against Leicester, Millwall and Cheltenham.
Ferguson told the club website: "Gabby has been excellent since he came here."
Zakuani, who has also had spells with Stoke and Leyton Orient, has made 11 appearances for Posh since joining on loan in September.
The club have revealed the fee is less than they paid Norwich for record signing Joe Lewis.
