Posh on verge of Torres signing

Torres scored five goals from midfield for Wycombe last year

Peterborough United will add Wycombe Wanderers winger Sergio Torres to their squad when they return from a training camp in Marbella next week.

Posh have agreed a fee with the League Two club but they are yet to finalise personal terms with the Argentine.

Torres, 27, played 38 league games last season and follows team-mate Russell Martin from the Chairboys to Posh.

The midfielder, who is currently recovering from an ankle operation, previously played for Basingstoke.
