Peterborough have signed midfielder Tony Scully to help cover for injuries and suspensions at London Road.
Scully has joined Barry Fry's side on a non-contract basis after a spell with the club at the end of last season.
The 27-year-old made three substitute appearances while on loan from Cambridge United.
The former Manchester City and QPR winger was released by Cambridge in the summer and has been training with Peterborough since then.
Meanwhile, Posh captain Sagi Burton has been ruled out for six weeks with a knee injury.
The defender is set to undergo surgery after sustaining cartilage damage in Monday's win at Notts County.
