Posh sign duo
Peterborough have signed Sagi Burton from Crewe and former Queens Park Rangers striker Bradley Allen.

Burton has left Crewe just weeks after joining the club on a month-to-month deal.

"He told me he had been offered a one-year deal and a first-team place at Peterborough," said Crewe boss Dario Gradi.

He is a big man with a real presence
Posh boss Barry Fry

"I told him that we could not match that."

Peterborough manager Barry Fry first tried to sign Burton when the versatile defender was with Crystal Palace.

"Sagi is a first-class utility player," Fry told his club's official website.

"The way our squad has been depleted by injuries, I am delighted to have him.

"I have signed him for a year. He is a big man with a real presence and that is what we require at the moment."

Former QPR and Charlton man Allen, the younger brother of former England striker Clive, left Grimsby during the summer.

He has been looking for a new club since then and joins Posh following an unsuccessful trial at Brighton.
