McKenzie stays says Fry
QPR's offer for Peterborough's highly-rated striker Leon McKenzie has been
turned down by Posh boss Barry Fry.
McKenzie was in inspired form for Posh last season, weighing in with 20 goals, and has been linked to a number of clubs, including Wigan and Brighton. "I told QPR I am not interested in selling McKenzie, which is what I said last season to Peter Taylor when he was at Brighton, and Paul Jewell of Wigan," Fry told Peterborough's official website. "Obviously if QPR come back and offer ridiculous money we might have to think again, but I rate Leon highly and want to keep him at London Road."
