Posh keeper's Old Trafford loan
Peterborough goalkeeper Luke Steele has started a month's loan at Manchester United.

The 17-year-old spent a week at Old Trafford earlier in the season and Posh boss Barry Fry is expecting him to thrive with the champions.

"We have the greatest confidence in his ability and potential," Fry told the club's official website.

"I am sure he will enjoy every minute up there and make the most of it. I have no doubt Luke will take everything in his stride."

Fry believes Steele could represent England "at all levels" and has likened his progress to that of former Posh stars Matthew Etherington and Simon Davies, now at Tottenham.

"I won't be surprised if we get a bid for him if things go well," Fry added. "If United to do come in it will take a substantial amount.

"If, as I expect, he plays for England, the price will be going up all the time."
