Finnish defender Jukka Santala has moved from Rangers to Partick Thistle on loan until January.
Santala played in the Champions League at Helsinki
The 19-year-old told the Thistle website: "Although my main aim is to play first-team football in the SPL, I am delighted to get the chance to pick up some much-needed experience.
"At may age, it is very hard with no experience to get into Rangers' team."
Thistle boss Dick Campbell said: "He is an international and is well thought of by many at Ibrox and beyond."
Santala joined Rangers from HJK Helsinki and, although primarily a defender, also scored for the Finns as a striker.
"He has played Champions League for Helsinki, so he has accomplished a lot in a short period of time," said Campbell, who pointed out that there were a few other clubs after Santala.
"I haven't yet decided whether he will play on Saturday, or to give him a week to settle in, but he will be an important player for us in the coming few months."
