Oxford United's Mickey Lewis wants penalty improvement

Oxford United assistant manager Mickey Lewis says the U's must learn to be more clinical with penalty kicks.

Striker Jack Midson's penalty miss against Hayes & Yeading, after he had scored the game's only goal, was their fourth missed kick this season.

"We are not happy with that record at all," Lewis told BBC Oxford.

"It is something that we need to address. You can take as many penalties as you like in training it's not the same as doing it in a game."

The former United midfielder added: "It hasn't cost us, but it can cost you."
