Oxford return to full training

Oxford United players
Oxford players modelling the club's new kit.

Oxford United's players are back in full training ahead of the new Blue Square Premier season.

The U's have begun a more intensive fitness regime, after light work earlier this month at the club's new base in North Oxfordshire.

"We have been working hard. We have morning and afternoon sessions all week," said striker Jack Midson.

United's first pre-season friendly is against neighbours Oxford City on 14 July at Court Place Farm.

Oxford's league campaign begins with a home game against York City on 8 August.
