U's players return for training

Oxford United players in training

Oxford United players have returned for pre-season training for the first time at the club's new training facility near Chesterton in North Oxfordshire.

Manager Chris Wilder says he is happy with the squad he has assembled over the past few weeks.

"Any of those players I could put out, could get a result," said Wilder.

"It's up to the players now to force the issue, put in performance in pre-season, and work hard individually on the training ground".

United's campaign in the Blue Square Premier starts on 8 August.
