Foster was linked to Cardiff and Coventry this summer
Oxford United manager Darren Patterson has criticised the attitude of defender Luke Foster after the centre-back was sent off in the 2-0 defeat at Wrexham.
Foster, 22, was voted the player of the year last season, but has been below-par in United's poor start this term.
Patterson told BBC Oxford: "I'm furious with him. He got player of the year and thinks he is [it] now. He's gone away from what he's good at.
"It seems to have gone to his head and we need to get him back."
