Kennet relishes top-flight chance
Former Oxford United full-back Josh Kennet has admitted he is loving life in Israel after bouncing back from his release by the Us in May.

The 20-year-old now plays for Maccabi Herzliya in Israel's Premier League.

Kennet told the Jewish Chronicle: "I was really down at the start of the season when Oxford let me go, but I never doubted my ability.

"The Premier League here has international players and the chance of playing in European competition."

Kennet, whose father is from Israel, added: "It may sound unrealistic but I think one day I can make it to the [English] Premier League."
