Beharall joins Oldham
David Beharall
Beharall has already spent time on loan at Grimsby
Newcastle defender David Beharall has joined Second Division Oldham on loan for the rest of the season.

The 22-year-old has made just six senior appearances for the Magpies during his five seasons at St James' Park.

He will team up again with Bobby Robson's former number two Mick Wadsworth, who is the newly-appointed manager at Boundary Park.

Beharall has already spent three months on loan at Grimsby this season, where he played 15 games including the Worthington Cup victory over Liverpool.

The Newcastle-born player joined United as a trainee in 1996 and made his last first-team appearance against Tottenham Hotspur almost two years ago.
