Forte's hat-trick was the first by a Notts County player on his debut since 1999
Notts County's on-loan striker Jonathan Forte has turned down a chance to represent Barbados to concentrate on playing for the Magpies.
Forte was named in the squad for three matches in the Caribbean Cup, but will instead stay at Meadow Lane.
The 22-year-old, who scored a hat-trick on his debut at Barnet on Saturday, has played twice for Barbados - against Dominica in March and the US in June.
The striker joined the Magpies from Scunthorpe United last week.
