Blake agrees Forest stay
Robbie Blake
Blake's Bradford goals have dried up recently
Nottingham Forest have signed Bradford striker Robbie Blake on a two-month loan, the club announced on Tuesday.

The 24-year-old marksman will link-up with Forest later this week and is set to make his debut against Birmingham at The City Ground on Saturday.

Blake scored 16 goals in Bradford's Division One promotion campaign two years ago but struggled to make an impact at Valley Parade in the top flight last season.

Forest boss David Platt said: "Robbie has shown in the past that he can score goals in this division and we're delighted to have him on board.

"He will bring something to the team that we haven't got at the moment - the ability to score a goal out of nothing.

"We drew up a short-list of players during the summer and he was on that. We turned our attention to him when we failed to get Craig Hignett."

Blake, who launched his career with Forest's Worthington Cup opponents Darlington, will arrive at The City Ground on Thursday to meet his new team-mates.
