Davies in line for monthly award

Davies' Forest are unbeaten away from home this season

Nottingham Forest boss Billy Davies has been shortlisted for the Championship manager-of-the-month award for October.

The Reds won three and drew one of their four games in the month to go 10th in the table, and are only out of the play-off places on goal difference.

Leicester City's Nigel Pearson, Dave Jones of Cardiff and Swansea City's Paolo Sousa are the other managers up for the award.

The winner will be announced on Saturday afternoon.
