Perch misses Forest Portugal trip

Perch has made over 150 appearances for Forest

Nottingham Forest captain James Perch has not travelled with the Reds' squad for their pre-season trip to Portugal.

Forest flew out to the Algarve on Friday, but Perch, 23, has stayed behind for treatment on a slight knock he picked up earlier in pre-season.

The Reds say the problem is not serious and they expect him to return to training when the rest of the squad return from their trip.

Forest play Sporting Lisbon on Saturday in Albuferia.
