Nottingham Forest striker Dele Adebola believes he can feel a positive vibe around the club in pre-season training.
The 33-year-old agreed a two-year contract last week after joining on a free transfer from Bristol City.
Adebola told BBC Radio Nottingham: "After the manager (Billy Davies) took over you could see the positive vibe.
"When we (Bristol City) came down to play we lost and you could see there was a vibe then. The momentum is there now and the fans feel it too I think."
The Reds originally bid for Adebola in February 2009 on transfer deadline day, but their undisclosed offer was turned down.
Adebola added: "I remember when it didn't initially happen when the transfer window closed I was very disappointed,
"Then they came for me again and we've eventually done it. I am very proud to know Forest have made so many efforts to bring me in."
