Nottingham Forest striker Robert Earnshaw has said there are no problems between him and manager Billy Davies.
There were reports of a rift between the pair when Earnshaw played under Davies at Derby County.
Earnshaw told BBC Radio Nottingham: "We've had a chat and we're pushing in the same direction. That's what matters and we'll be OK.
"There's not a lot to it, if I'm playing well the manager will be happy. I put the effort in and score goals."
Earnshaw scored Forest's second in the 2-0 over Charlton at the Valley on Saturday.
The Welsh international was signed by Davies for Derby in June 2007 but was made just seven Premier League starts in his season-long stay at Pride Park.
Forest currently lie 20th in the Championship, just one point above the relegation zone.
