New Forest manager Billy Davies will be taking on his former club Derby
New Nottingham Forest manager Billy Davies says the Reds' FA Cup draw against his former club and arch-rivals Derby is a mouth-watering prospect.
Forest's convincing 3-0 win at Manchester City put them in the fourth round with Derby clinching a 4-3 victory over non-league Forest Green.
Davies told BBC Radio Nottingham: "It's an excellent game to look forward to.
"I have some great friends still at Derby County and great memories but my time now is with Forest."
Davies added: "As good a time as I had at Derby, things have changed now and my loyalties and energy are focused on getting as much success as I possibly can for Forest."
The Scot, who officially took charge of the club on Monday, said his players' feet had to remain on the ground despite the spectacular performance on Saturday.
"It was a great performance but as I said to the players after the match - we can't get too excited about it.
"There's a big challenge in the league, the table doesn't lie and we've got a tremendous fight between now and the end of the season."
The fourth-round tie is scheduled for 24 January with a 1500 GMT kick-off.
Forest are one place above the Championship relegation zone on goal difference.
