Nottingham Forest defender Julian Bennett has started his return to action with a game for the reserves.

The defender, who has been sidelined for six weeks with a broken collarbone, played a full 90 minutes in Forest's 1-0 defeat to Leicester on Tuesday.

Boss Colin Calderwood must now decide whether to recall Bennett for first team duty at Coventry City on Saturday.

Bennett picked up his injury in an accidental collision with keeper Lee Camp against Ipswich on 21 October.
