Fletcher's loan spell cut short

Fletcher has returned to Crystal Palace after just five games for Forest

Carl Fletcher's loan spell with Nottingham Forest has been cut short by a back injury.

The Crystal Palace and Wales midfielder made five appearances for the Reds, the last of them as a substitute against Bristol City on 15 November.

He was not in the squad against Norwich City and has now returned to Palace.

Forest boss Colin Calderwood told BBC Radio Nottingham: "It's unfortunate because he [would have been] needed between now and Christmas."
