Nottingham Forest have completed the signing of midfielder Carl Fletcher from Championship rivals Crystal Palace on a six-week loan.
The Welsh international, who is a replacement for the injured Guy Moussi, is set to make his Reds debut against Queens Park Rangers on Saturday.
He has made five substitute appearances for the Selhurst Park side this season.
The Eagles put the 28-year-old, who has had spells at Watford and West Ham on the transfer list in August.
Forest striker Robert Earnshaw told the club website: "Carl's a good player and a good guy as well. He will work himself into the ground and he can pass the ball.
"He'll boss people around - tell them what to do with his experience."
