Lappin (left) and Hoolahan have been regular starters under Paul Lambert
Norwich City midfielders Wes Hoolahan ad Simon Lappin have agreed new contracts with the club.
Hoolahan, 28, has signed a new three-and-a-half year deal, while 27-year-old Lappin has been tied down at Carrow Road until the summer of 2013.
Irishman Hoolahan has scored eight times this season in 25 appearances.
Canaries manager Paul Lambert told BBC Radio Norfolk: "It's great for the club and great for Wes himself and I'm delighted with it.
"We're trying to build things here and hopefully we can bring a few more in and keep it going."
Hoolahan joined the Canaries from Blackpool in the summer of 2008, with goalkeeper Matt Gilks heading in the other direction.
He has gone on to feature 101 times for City, finding the net on 24 occasions.
Lappin has been a main stay of the Canaries squad over the last two years, missing only two games in last season's League One title winning campaign.
Despite being a peripheral figure between 2008 and 2009 the Scot has made a total of 11 appearances for the Canaries since joining from St Mirren four years ago.
He told the club website: "It's a great place to be playing your football and I've loved it since day one and now I'm here for another couple of years and I'm absolutely delighted.
"Confidence is high here at the moment and hopefully we can keep that going, there is a long way to go and I want to be part of it."
Lambert added: "He had been through a bad spell with the club before I arrived but his contribution over the last 17 months has been great and like I said it's great for him and the club that Simon will be here until 2013."
