Pattison will hope to earn a first-team place at the beginning of next season
Norwich City boss Bryan Gunn has told midfielder Matt Pattison he is back in his first-team plans.
The 22-year-old former Newcastle man did not play for Norwich in the final three months of last season after Gunn took over as Canaries manager.
But Gunn said: "He's got a good attitude and he's working hard to impress me and the rest of the staff."
Pattison's girlfriend gave birth on Thursday morning and he will rejoin the club's tour of Scotland on Friday.
He signed from Newcastle United in January 2008 following a loan spell and has scored three times for the Canaries.
Pattison will hope to be involved as Norwich try and win promotion back to the Championship after their relegation to League One at the end of last season.
