Lupoli has scored five goals for Norwich City this season
Norwich City's on-loan striker Arturo Lupoli dedicated his FA Cup equaliser at Charlton to the fans who have called for him to play more.
The Italian, on loan from Fiorentina, had not played for nearly a month until Saturday's third round 1-1 draw.
Lupoli explained his supporters' salute to BBC Radio Norfolk.
"I heard the fans call my name today, and in other games when I haven't been involved, I thought it was nice to dedicate this goal to the crowd."
He added: "They came a long way here, and I think they deserve at least the draw which will mean another game at Carrow Road, which is much better for us."
Lupoli said before the game that he was willing to call a premature end to his loan spell if he was not given first-team chances by Norwich boss Glenn Roeder.
After the match at The Valley he admitted that nearly a month without playing had inspired him.
"When you don't get minutes there is always anger inside you, because you might expect to play and it doesn't happen.
"But even if you are on the pitch for 10, 20 minutes you have to do your best, and the goal means everything to me, scoring goals is my job and today I did it well," he said.
