Roeder expects signings before the tour of Sweden (Getty)
Norwich manager Glenn Roeder expects to complete new signings in the next couple of days before he takes his club on a pre-season tour of Sweden.
Norwich beat Ridgeons League side Gorleston 8-1 on Wednesday, with Roeder claiming it was a good training exercise for his newly-formed team.
Roeder said: "I think it will be a busy couple of days.
"Some of the transfers that will happen in the next week or so have been ongoing for five or six weeks."
He added: "It's been very slow going I have to say. It's quite ridiculous really, but that's the nature of the business now.
"It will continue right up till the week before the season starts for us at Coventry," he said.
Roeder has made just two permanent additions to his threadbare Canaries squad this summer, Wes Hoolahan and Sammy Clingan, and both played their part in the Emerald Park thrashing.
"Sammy did well, Wes did well, I think we got a little glimpse of what Hoolahan's all about and I think the fans are going to be really excited about watching him play this year on the ball," added Roeder.
Hoolahan scored the final goal of the victory, won a penalty that was converted by youngster Manny Richardson, and also set up Darel Russell's goal.
The scoring started after 12 seconds with an own goal, Chris Martin scored two, and the other goals came from Matt Pattison and Luke Daley.
