Bryan Gunn has been given a new role as Norwich City's Head of Player Recruitment at Carrow Road.

The former goalkeeper will be in charge of The Canaries scouting network and replaces chief scout Alan Wood who has left the club.

Gunn performed a similar role when Peter Grant was Norwich manager but has now been handed more responsibilities.

The ex-Scotland international had been filling in as the club's goalkeeping coach since December.

Manager Glenn Roeder has been restructuring his backroom staff since the end of the season, with Wood the sixth person to leave.
