Norwich City have completed the free transfer signing of Ian Murray from Rangers on a one-year deal.
Murray is on the move to Norwich
The Scotland international, 26, who can play in defence or midfield, had a year of his Ibrox contract to run - but Norwich have not paid a fee.
"It's good to finally get here and get it sorted because it feels like it's dragged on," he told City's website.
"I knew Norwich were interested - it's a good city where the people are passionate about their football."
Norwich boss Peter Grant had said before the deal was finalised: "He has all the attributes you look for in a player.
"He can play left-back, left-midfield, centre-midfield and centre-back - and he can do them all well."
Rangers manager Walter Smith revealed the switch at his club's annual meeting on Thursday.
He also said one or two other players may have to move on if he is to add to his squad before the summer transfer window closes.
