Norwich have signed Wigan defender David Wright on a one-month loan deal.
Wright has had limited chances at Wigan
The 25-year-old right-back will go into the squad for City's Championship game against Luton on Saturday.
"It's been frustrating for me this season, though obviously the Wigan lads have done fantastically well," he told the club website.
"I don't think anyone expected Wigan to be second. It means my chances have been limited so I jumped at the chance to hopefully kick-start my career."
Canaries boss Nigel Worthington was delighted at landing the Latics man.
"He brings us more quality and experience to the squad," he said.
"It's a good deal for David and for us and it gives him a chance to get some football under his belt."
