Curtain falls on Drill Field
Northwich Victoria's Drill Field ground
Drill Field is one of the oldest grounds in the world
The curtain comes down on 127 years of football at Northwich Victoria's Drill Field ground on Saturday.

The Vics host Barnet in their last Conference game of the season in the final match to be played at Drill Field.

Northwich have played their football at the ground continuously since 1875, but is due to be demolished and redeveloped as housing.

Vics hope to build a new ground on a site at the nearby Wincham Business Park.

They are set to ground share with Witton Albion during the 2002-2003 season while a new ground is developed.

Supporters raised more than 100,000 to fight off potential suitors a decade ago but the club's struggle to stay at Drill Field is almost over.
