Sampson was named the full-time manager in early October
Northampton Town boss Ian Sampson says he is thoroughly enjoying his first taste of full-time football management.
Sampson has overseen four wins, two losses and one draw in all competitions since taking over at Sixfields.
He told BBC Radio Northampton: "There's been sleepless nights, pressure, fans and reporters thinking they can do a better job.
"But I'm loving every minute. It's what I wanted to do and I knew there'd be ups and downs. It's a good job."
Sampson had enjoyed a previous spell in caretaker charge of the Cobblers in late 2006 before taking over on an initial temporary basis following Stuart Gray's departure in September.
