Cobblers chairman backs boss Gray

Stuart Gray
Gray has been at Sixfields for just over two years

Northampton Town Chairman David Cardoza has given his full backing to manager Stuart Gray as the fight against relegation continues for the Cobblers.

"Even if the worst came to the worst, Stuart will be here next season," Cardoza told BBC Radio Northampton.

"We, as Northampton Town, wouldn't get any better than Stuart."

Cardoza has also revealed that despite another knockback regarding developing around the Sixfields ground he has no intention of quitting the club.

Northampton are currently three points clear of the League One relegation zone with 13 games remaining this season.
