Constantine has received support from his team-mates after the booing
Northampton Town defender Andy Holt has backed his team-mate Leon Constantine after the striker was booed by sections of the Sixfields crowd on Saturday.
Constantine, 30, signed from Leeds last July and has scored only three goals in 21 league and cup starts this season.
He was jeered during Saturday's 2-1 defeat against Leicester City.
"Everyone has been there, whether the fans have the right to express their opinion or not, they will still do it," Holt told BBC Radio Northampton.
"You just have to roll your sleeves up, say that no-one is going to criticise me for commitment or effort and do all you can to stop the booing," he added.
Northampton squandered a 16th-minute lead against the Foxes, who claimed the points thanks to goals from ex-Cobblers striker Steve Howard and Lloyd Dyer.
