Watson returns to Cobblers
Former England Under-21 goalkeeper David Watson has returned to Northampton Town for a second spell as the club's goalkeeping coach.

Watson, who replaces Jim Blyth, first worked at the Sixfields Stadium in 2001.

The 30-year-old former Barnsley number one, whose own playing career was curtailed by a knee injury, has also worked on the coaching staff at Oldham and Huddersfield Town.

"I would would like to welcome Dave to the club and also wish Jim Blyth all the very best for his future," Cobblers boss Colin Calderwood told the club's official website.
