Newcastle have signed young goalkeeper Tim Krul on a three-year deal from Dutch side Den Haag.
The 17-year-old, who is the Magpies' third signing of the summer, said he was delighted to secure the move.
"It's a fantastic move for me to sign for such a big club. To come and play in England has always been a dream," he told Newcastle's website.
"When I was a young boy I always used to say to my father that I wanted to come and play in England."
Manager Graeme Souness has already captured midfielders Scott Parker and Emre Belezoglu ahead of the new campaign.
Krul was a member of the Dutch squad that finished runner-up at May's Under-17 European Championship and qualified for September's Under-17 World Championship in Peru.
