Newcastle's Nolberto Solano says he will not make his second debut for the club after his return from Aston Villa until he is 100% fit.
The Peruvian has yet to play for the Magpies due to suspension and injury, and said he is unlikely to be risked against Manchester City this weekend.
"It has been disappointing not to play since I came back to Newcastle," he told the club website.
"The injury is getting better but it's important I wait until I'm 100%."
Solano, 30, has trained this week but said he was not sure he was up to full match fitness.
"I'm looking forward to making my debut and obviously I would love it to be this Saturday," he said.
"But I haven't played much over the last couple of weeks, and I don't want to play then have to come off with the same problem.
"It's important to get it right."
