McGhee wants to see his side defend dead balls better
|
Motherwell manager Mark McGhee says his side's defending at set-pieces cost them the points at Tannadice as Darren Dods' header won it for Dundee United.
Dods stole in to head a Barry Robson corner home with just 12 minutes to go.
"It was a very entertaining game and they played to stop us from passing the ball," McGhee told BBC Sport.
"But we lost a goal from a set-piece which is our achilles heel. There weren't many chances but we didn't take any that did come our way."
