Maurice Malpas believes his Motherwell side were unlucky to lose 1-0 to champions-elect Celtic.
"We definitely deserved something from the game," said the manager. "Our possession was as good as, if not better than, Celtic's.
"The difference was that we lost the ball for the goal and Celtic have the ability to put the ball in the net.
"That's why Celtic are top of the league, because they can do that."
